Each private cabin features its own dedicated sauna. You can choose between a wood-burning sauna—warmed by stoking the fire yourself—and an electric sauna that lets you easily set your preferred temperature. Both are authentic Finnish-style, giving you the freedom to enjoy self-löyly whenever you like. Right outside the sauna room, the cold plunge and outdoor relaxation space guide you into the ultimate state of deep relaxation.

Earthboat Kitakaruizawa is located within a historic, private villa compound in the North Karuizawa area. Passing through the private gate, you’ll find a tranquil sanctuary secluded from the outside world—the perfect setting for a relaxing, "stay-in" experience surrounded by nature until check-out.
Select rooms (Hut Onsen, 2 rooms only) feature an open-air hot spring bath fed by our private onsen source, Asama Yumoto Onsen No. 1, drawn directly from the grounds. Rich in sodium, sulfate, hydrogen carbonate, and chloride, the soothing waters gently ease nerve and muscle pain, joint stiffness, and deep-seated fatigue.
